Following developments of Kosovo's status, NATO, via Kosovo Force (KFOR), decided to reopen the upper sector of airspace over Kosovo for overflights.
While coordinated by NATO/KFOR, the airspace between FL205 to FL660 will be managed by Hungarocontrol, the office behind ATC Operations in Hungary.

Members controlling the airspace who are not in the roster will be removed from the position by a supervisor.
Important note: due to the political status of the Republic of Kosovo, the ATS facility has been registered with the country code XK, which is an internal code with absolutely no political bias. IVAO never considers real-life political intricacies in its activities, but has a compromise with the operational status as practised in real life.
