Barton QFE = Barton QNH - 2 hPa
Fixed Wing - 1000 FT Barton QFE.
Helicopter - 500 FT Barton QFE. (Pilots should follow the Helicopter circuit procedures as detailed in the UK AIP)
Departing aircraft are to be given the following information on first contact:
- Runway(s) in use,
- Circuit direction(s),
- Barton QFE and QNH,
- Conspicuity squawk 7365.
Arriving aircraft are to be given the following information on first contact.
- Conspicuity squawk 7365,
- Runway(s) in use,
- Circuit direction(s),
- Barton QFE and QNH,
- Any reported traffic information.
Manchester Barton Conspicuity - 7365
Aircraft in communication with Barton AFIS may be allocated a conspicuity squawk. This squawk code should be issued to departing and arriving aircraft on first contact. This conspicuity code is for the benefit of other Radar equipped ATS units such as Manchester (EGCC) and Liverpool and is not used by Barton AFIS for identification.
Barton AFIS may provide a Basic Service only.
