Every member of the IVAO United Kingdom and Ireland MCD team is a volunteer, and there are hundreds of division members waiting for training from our team. For that reason, we do have certain policies that we all students must agree to when booking a training session.
After booking your training slot on the XU TMS, please book the position on the IVAO ATCSS which can be found here. Failure to do this may see the session be cancelled if the position has already been booked within IVAO ATCSS take priority over over sessions just booked on the XU TMS.
We ask that all students in advance of their session join the XU Discord server which can be done from our home page. Please join the #training-waiting-room ten minutes before the session is due to start.
The training staff reserve the right to ask that sessions are postponed, moved to help achieve learning outcomes.
Whenever you fail to turn up to a training session, or cancel within 48 hours without a suitable reason, the following policy will be applied.

If a session is cancelled by a student within 24 hours of the sessions start time, it will be counted as a no show unless there are 'extraordinary circumstances'. in all instances the decision of either XU HQ or XU TC/TAC will be final.

We also ask that you take a read of the wiki links that give you all the theoretical information you will need to pass your ratings. If student comes into sessions and they do not demonstrate that they have been reading the wiki and practising on the network, the training team may make the decision to place a hold on your training journey until you can show that you are actively controlling and reading wiki articles which will help progress your training. In the event of this any training aerodrome derestriction's will also be removed.. Any decision made by XU-TC/TAC is final.
