¶ Special Operations
Special Operations consists of any flight that falls outside normal rules and operating procedures of ICAO and CAA in the XU division. This often includes Military, Police, Coastguard and other specialised flying that is different to point A to Point B flying. This also includes any ATC position that is primarily set up to control this traffic.
¶ Events
There are 2 types of Special Operations events.
- International events are hosted by divisions and SO-HQ, these events can be attended by everyone as long as they have registered if required. All International events, from all divisions, can be found here.
- Divisional Events are hosted by the division for their members, any members who want to attend but are not a member of the division must get permission from the division. XU Divisional events will be posted on the website and discord.
