Divisions are encourged to make use of the non-divisional airspace to create larger events that target different areas of the world. This procedure aims to outline how divisions can utalise this airspace.
The Event must be ESA Supported. Therefore Divisions are required to follow the necessary steps as outlined within the ESA Request Procedure.
All ESA events will have one (1) token subtracted from each of the participant division(s). However RFEs/RFOs/MSEs or multidivisional events with three (3) or more participating divisions will be deducted half (0.5) token points instead of a whole (1) token for these events.
ATC Service will be provided by HQ-ATC for the event route and destination/departure airport.
1. Divisons are to seek Events Support Award approval from the HQ Events Department.
2. The Division organising the Event must send an email to events@ivao.aero indicating the route and required positions.
3. The HQ Events Department will contact and create the booking system in collaboration with the ATC HQ department.
4. The HQ Events Department will then pass all relevent information to the organising Division, then the Division is able to continue to post the Event as per the Posting Events Procedures - this procedure does not guarantee that the service can be covered.

The request should be done at least 60 days before the event.
