Line Manager: Training Director (TD) and Training Assistant Director (TAD)
Description: The Training Documentation Team consists of one Training Documentation Manager (TDM) and Training Documentation Advisors (TDAx). The Documentation Team is responsible for creating, updating and maintaining the IVAO Training Documentation Library.
Training Documentation Manager (TDM)
- Ensure that the team’s mission, dynamics, projects and objectives are being accomplished.
- Have a high level of availability and guarantee to respond to messages regarding the documentation group within 48 hours.
- Facilitate and host regular team meetings within the documentation group (TDM/TDA) to review activities and discuss possible difficulties at least 4 times a year.
- Manage the Training Documentation Team human resources in coordination with the TD and TAD.
- Manage documentation for educational purposes based on a strategy established by the TD and TAD.
- Allocate, in close coordination with SRTA division mentors, TDAs for assisting divisions in the development of local documentation.
- Assign specific roles to TDAs, based on their particular skills.
- Ensure all documents are kept up to date, based on actual published material.
- Ensure that all documents written by the Training Documentation Team are properly sourced, in clear and flawless English, guaranteeing that there is no copyright infringement.
- Review theoretical questions proposed by examiners, to ensure that the IVAO Training Documentation Library offers plausible answers. Documents shall be created or adapted if needed to cover the subject in question.
Training Documentation Advisors (TDAx)
- Have a high level of availability and guarantee to respond to messages regarding the documentation group within 48 hours.
- Assist, in close coordination with SRTAs and TDM, the divisions during the development of local documentation.
- Carry out any documentation related tasks as determined by the TDM (eg. writing, correction, reorganisation, communication with members, etc).
