On February 26, 2022, the executive council announced a new structure for the public relations department. This structure aims to better align with the expectations of our community. it ensures that the departments are well-equipped to meet the demands of our members.
The department has managerial roles, enabling the ability for minor decision making to be done at a more local level as opposed to being elevated to the Department DirectorsThe Department split into three teams; Community, social media and content.
The Community Team consist of two sub-teams; Community Engagement and Creator Partnership.
The Creator Partnership team is dedicated to looking after those members that are part of IVAO’s Creator Partnership. They are responsible of its monitoring.
The Community Engagement team is responsible for the day-to-day moderation of this forum and the IVAO Family Discord. Monitoring messages from our community and assisting, or directing to assistance, where they possibly can to get our members the outcome they need.
The Social Media Team is responsible for managing and maintaining all of our social media platforms ensuring we deliver the very best to our members and even reach potential new members.
The Content Team consist of two sub-teams; Digital Content and Editorial Content.
The Digital Content team is solely responsible for the creation of all HQ digital content and maintaining/updating the IVAO branding documentation.
The Editorial Content Team is responsible for all official HQ written content in relation to announcements, press releases and statements. Alongside this they are also responsible for the Virtual Sky blog, transforming from a website primarily used for Change Logs and IVAO related news to a platform that offers our members more wholesome content related to the wider flight simulation community.
