IVAO offers a rating Fast track procedure to users of POSCON and VATSIM as pilots, or posses ATC experience at POSCON.
Rating Fast track are only possible in active Divisions.
Rule: The rating fast track is a voluntary offer by IVAO toward its users. The offer may be withdrawn entirely in the future or denied individually, by decision of the IVAO Training Department, IVAO Executive.
Rule: A rating fast track is possible only one time per user and section (ATC and Pilot side).
To be eligible for a rating fast track, the applicant shall fulfil the requirements below:
Note: HQ Training Department reserves the right to make a crosscheck.
The Rating Fast track will allow the members of POSCON & VATSIM to perform their practical exam for the requested rating faster than the standard timings.
Rule: Pilots must have a good English proficiency level to be checked during the practical examination.
Rule: Ratings not shown below are not eligible for transfer.

The process of any rating fast track involves certain people to validate the request. It should be followed carefully to enable rapid completion.
The Procedure shall be :
Make a screenshot of your full VATSIM profile page, please make sure VID, name and ratings are clearly visible and flight time; or
Make a screenshot of your full POSCON profile page, please make sure that your ID name and information is clear and flight time; and
Request the rating fast track with your Division Training Department (DIR/ADIR/TC/TAC),
The Division TD will check you comply with the requirements.
Once the check is done the division will forward your application to its Mentor and copy at the email training@ivao.aero - "Subject: Rating Fast Track VID: XXXXXX "
HQ Training Department will make a cross-check the request and sent its approval for the realisation of the Practical exam to TD/TAD
Note: The HQ Training Department may denied the request with a proper reason (suspensions, previous exams, etc)
Once the approval is received the Divional TC/TAC will receive the exam at the Exam box. The applicant as well as the concerned Division HQ will be notified of the completion of the rating transfer.
The Exam will perform same a per the Examination procedure and marking standards.
The HQ Training department and the Division HQ will handle the personal data of the requester highly confidential and according to GDPR compliance. After the rating fast track is completed, the items submitted, will be deleted permanently. HQ Training Department reserves the right to re-request specific data like another screenshot of the profile at any time, or refuse the rating fast track in a case of any doubt, without clarification.
If false documents are sent, or if any cheating during the fast track process is recognized:
- The user will not receive the requested rating fast track and the user can be downgraded at the discretion of HQ training department and IVAO executive.
- The user will be banned from doing exams for a minimum of twelve months period.
- The case will also be put to the attention of the IVAO executive for further possible sanctions.
When applicant of any rating fast track want to advance to a higher IVAO rating, he/she will have to complete all the normal theoretical and practical exam up to the desired rating.
In exceptional cases, there may be reasons to downgrade a user who holds the privilege of a rating fast track. Reasons for a downgrade may include, but are not limited to:
The Division HQ can send a request to HQ Training Directors to downgrade the rating of the member at any time.
