Below is the list of general regulations and guidelines that must be observed while flying World Tours. Please read ALL of them carefully and make sure you comply with them, not only to ensure your satisfaction but every other member's satisfaction in flying World Tours.
Flights must be completed in real-time mode (1x sim rate). No other mode (Slew or Acceleration) is permitted on the IVAO Network.
Flights must be completed online using real-weather injection from the simulator or software capable of providing real-weather.
Flights must be flown in the correct order, and PIREP must be submitted within 45 days. Otherwise, PIREP will be rejected. PIREP must be reported in UTC format as 'Take-Off' and 'Landing' times.
After connecting to the network, the aircraft must be stationary (Parking Brake ON), on the apron, or at the gate for a minimum of 3 minutes. After landing and taxiing to the apron or the gate, the aircraft must be stationary (Parking Brake ON) while still online for a minimum of 3 minutes. Connecting on the runway or the taxiway is not permitted.
After completing a flight, the flight must be disconnected from the network before starting the next flight.
A maximum disconnection time of 30 minutes will be accepted for flight distances less than 2,500 NM and 45 minutes for flight distances more than 2,500 NM due to a simulator or PC crash (The pilot must report UTC times with a brief explanation when submitting the flight). When reconnecting to the network, the flight must be initiated no further than 100 NM from the point of disconnection.
Unless the published limits of the airspace allow, or unless instructed by online ATC, the Maximum Allowed Speed below FL100 (10,000 ft) is 250 KIAS.
The pilot is responsible for ensuring the flight plan is correct before take-off. Flights with the wrong: a) ICAO codes for Departure / Destination / Alternate Airports, or b) Flight Rule Type will not be accepted. If the flight plan is changed after take-off for a) or b) until disconnection, PIREP will be subjected to rejection.
Flight plans with a valid route are required. Flights with DCT with a valid real-life route or DCT/GPS or simple DCT or simple VFR as a route in the flight plan will be subjected to rejection. Composite flight plans Y and Z will be accepted only if the departure/destination airport is required. Legs that allow composite flight plans and DCT as a route in the flight plan are indicated in the tour or leg description.
The flight plan must include at least one real alternate airport to comply with ICAO standard flight plan rules. The pilot is responsible for ensuring a valid alternate airport is included in the flight plan. Checking the suggested alternates on the leg description while planning the flight is recommended. The departure airport as an alternate airport will be accepted. However, the distance between the destination and the alternate airport shall not exceed 200 NM for VFR and 500 NM for IFR. The pilot is responsible for verifying typos that could lead to a ZZZZ instead of a planned alternate airport.
The pilot must choose a suitable aircraft that can operate safely and within limits for every airport of the tour or as stated in the tour or leg description. The aircraft type needs to be corrected before take-off. See the tour or leg description. No refueling stop is allowed.
Flights must include RMK/WORLDTOUR in the remarks section of your flight plan before take-off.
Holding at cruise altitude, pausing at the top of descent (TOD), or passing over the destination on cruise altitude will not be accepted.
Any deviation from the flight plan route for a non-specified reason, such as but not limited to ATC request or weather avoidance, which is greater than 50 NM right or left, will be subject to rejection. Flights should adhere to the flight plan route as much as possible, respecting airspace rules and restricted airspaces. The direct route will be accepted as long as it still complies with the flight plan route. Track changes made to avoid ATC deliberately will not be accepted.
Diversions to the alternate airport or other airports will not be accepted due to system limitations. The pilot is responsible for verifying weather forecasts before the departures.
Flights that supervisors disconnected will not be accepted.
Every World Tour will also include separate and specific regulations that apply only to that World Tour. These regulations are published on the description page of the tour. These regulations are in addition to the regulations here.
Any disrespectful attitude will result in exclusion from the tour, and the IVAO R&R will be applied.
