The IVAO Headquarters Pilots Group is a group of highly skilled pilots, which task is to provide enough traffic or to perform difficult operations where a controller exam takes place.
The main task of this group is to provide experienced and qualified pilots to division ATC examination.
Why this group have been created ?
The main priorities of HQ Pilot Group are the knowledge, concentration and execution skills.
The service provided by the Pilots Group is available by request for any controller exams and some official training managed by training department of division.
HQ pilot group can only be requested by the examiner or the trainer of the training department of division which host the exam.
The Pilots Group needs notification about 5 days in advance to reach all pilots. Try to make your request as soon as possible, as the requests are processed on a first come first served basis.
Rule: A maximum of 1 session per hour can be allowed.
Every examiner can call the HQ Pilots for a briefing about 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam.
The examiner is invited to participate to assign tasks and ask questions.
The pilots will try to complete all tasks that are requested in the briefing or ordered via text during the flight, in function of the traffic around and in function of examinee's capabilities.
When more than 4 HQ pilots are attending to an exam, the examiner has the choice to request an exam supervisor. An exam-supervisor is a person who is in contact with all pilots to coordinate different situations. The examiner can still contact all pilots directly.
To be part of HQ Pilot Group, the member should send himself his application. The group will not invite Pilot to participate.
